Ms. Axon was born in Winter Park, Florida in 1973. She graduated from University of Alabama in 1995 with a B.A. in History and Political Science. She received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1999, where she was Lead Articles Editor for the Law and Psychology Review.

Ms. Axon practices in the areas of tax , trust and estate litigation as well as environmental litigation. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association, and the Estate Planning Council.
