Julie Bonner DeArman was born in Camden, Alabama. She graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with a B.A. in Psychology.  While at Auburn, she was on the Dean's List, and was a member of the Pi Lamda Sigma legal honor society, the Pi Alpha Delta honor society, and the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society. She graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2000.  While at Cumberland, she was Associate Editor of the Law Review and was on the Dean's List.

Ms. DeArman practiced with the Birmingham firm of Spain & Gillon before joining Wallace, Jordan, Ratliff & Brandt, L.L.C.

Ms. DeArman practices in the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration, corporate law, and non-profit organizations. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, and the Birmingham Bar Association. She also is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham and The Alabama Planned Giving Council.
