Mr. Leara joined the firm in 2000, having practiced in Birmingham for six years. He became a member at Wallace, Jordan, Ratliff & Brandt, LLC in 2001.

Bankruptcy law, contracts, business organizations, mergers, aquisitions, divestitures, trademarks, and real estate law are among his areas of concentration. Mr. Leara received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Brown University in 1986. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1994 from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, graduating magna cum laude. He is licensed to practice in Alabama and Georgia.

Mr. Leara was selected as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” for 2001 by the Birmingham Business Journal, which recognizes outstanding young business leaders.
