Larry Logsdon was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and is a member of the firm. He graduated summa cum laude from The University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Logsdon graduated from The University of Alabama School of Law, in 1992, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and served as a Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review.
Mr. Logsdon practices in general commercial litigation and also represents general contractors, subcontractors, owners and suppliers involved in all aspects of the construction industry. Some of his publications and presentations include: Co-author of “Alabama Construction Law: What Do You Do When...?” (National Business Institute, Inc., May 2003; May 2004); “The Construction Project, From Beginning, Middle, to End” (Birmingham Business Journal, Jan 6, 2006); “Payment in Alabama for Construction Work - Prompt Pay Acts”; “Mechanic’s Lien Law and Construction Lien Law in Alabama” (National Business Institute, Inc.); “Resolving Problems and Disputes on Construction Projects” (2006 & 2007 National Business Institute, Inc.); Construction Law Update (Cumberland School of Law Continuing Legal Education (December 2006); “Construction Law for Alabama Architects and Engineers” (Half Moon, L.L.C. 2007).
In 2005, Mr. Logsdon was selected to the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” for Construction Law. He is an associate member of the Association of General Contractors and American Subcontractor’s Association.
