Thomas A. McKnight, Jr. is a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A. 1999) and the University of Mississippi School of Law (J.D., 2002), where he was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal and Phi Delta Phi. While in law school, he received the W. Kerby Bowling, Sr., Memorial Labor Law Award and the W. N. Ethridge Memorial Scholarship. Mr. McKnight is a member of the American Bar Association and its Labor and Employment section, the Mississippi and Alabama State Bar Associations, and the Birmingham Bar Association.

Mr. McKnight is admitted to practice in Alabama and Mississippi, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi. His practice has been principally in the area of employment and construction litigation, as well as insurance defense.
